The special issue entitled “Membrane science and research in Asia and the Middle East: State of the art and perspectives” is dedicated for publication in the Journal of Membrane Science and Research. This special issue is oriented to the recent progresses made so far and future perspectives on membranes and membrane processes in Asia and the Middle East.
It will cover both original research papers and comprehensive/critical reviews and perspectives on membrane efforts particularly for four major sectors, including energy, water, environment and food. The advances, novelties and innovations made in these fields based on membrane technology will be discussed by the contributors.
It is expected that this special issue will provide directions and guideline to the membrane research community regarding the future outlook and roadmap of this technology for bench-scale and commercialization level.
